For Today:

NIFTY Resistance levels are: 6540, 6600, 6690;
NIFTY Support levels are: 6510, 6490, 6460, 6430, 6400;

Pre-Market: 9:15am

Nifty is expected to open flat today following down Asian markets;
Last Friday, Indian markets wrapped up the week in style with the
Sensex zooming to a new closing high of 21919.79 and the Nifty
galloping to yet another record close of 6526.65 as FIIs continued
to pump in dollars; On Friday, US stocks finished mostly higher with
the S&P 500 closing at a record after more jobs than expected were
created in February; Asian markets are trading lower today lead by
China which plunged as weak trade data signalled slowdown in the
world's second-largest economy; For us, today's market is extremely
important as it would tell us whether the move on Friday was a one-
off case or a genuine case of out-performance; Experts believe that
this positivity would prevail ahead as we have been exceptional cash
segment volume is seen with a rise in price, which shows buying
interest at current levels; The Nifty is today expected to test the
level of 6540-6550, and if this goes through, 6600 and then 6690 is
also possible; On the downside the critical Support comes in at 6430
and a break below 6400-6380 would clearly accelerate declines; But,
in general today, we expect the Nifty to take a pause and remain
quiet and range-bound with a slight positive bias; Remember,
profit booking downsides are always expected at such high
levels; As before, Follow specific stocks; Act quickly
when you get a good chance; Take small profits
and Exit; Repeat, if possible;
INR-US$ is at 61.2800; WTI Crude is at $102.58

ALERT-2: 11:00am

Nifty has remained flat and choppy in the 6500-6550 band after our
last Update; Resistance of 6540 is proving difficult to cross, as was
expected; Nifty is in the red right now, at around 6510, and a slight
negative trend may be developing; In the mean time, JPASSOCIAT
was able to give some profits in LONG following the levels we gave;
JPASSOCIAT should have been in at 48.50 and out at 49.25; If still
in, Hold JPASSOCIAT>49 with StopLoss at 47.50; If you have taken
entry with DLF at 171.50 following our last Update, you may Hold
DLF>171.50 with a StopLoss of 168; But look to go Marginal with
DLF as there no upside seen here at this time; Watch YESBANK>385
ONGC>317 now if market turns up; Asian markets are all in the red;
The Rupee is doing good in such difficult market and is at 61.1700;
We expect the Nifty to continue with choppy, range-bound trading;
Resistance at 6540-6550 will be broken today, we feel; Be very
sure and confident if you want to get in for LONG; Don't be
in a hurry; Consider all angles; Get in and out quickly
with small profits; Stay Away if not sure.

Nifty has remained very flat and choppy just around the line after
our last Update, exactly as we had expected; Nifty around 6520
now; Two of our Suggests have given profits in LONG after the last
Update; DLF should have been out at 172.75; JPASSOCIAT should

last Update, Hold ONGC>317 with a StopLoss of 313; BHEL is stuck
at 190; No other Suggest looks good for LONG now; All can give some
profits in LONG if the market turns up; Asian markets are all in the red;
Europe is also expected to open in the red; The Rupee is still holding
and is at 61.2250 now; For our market, we feel we will get a late
up-burst to reach above 6540-6550 by closing today; Otherwise,
range-bound trading around the line will continue; Remember,
Profit-booking downside can come at anytime at such high
levels; Support is at 6490 now; Consider all angles before
entering fresh now in LONG; Do not force anything;
Do not take big risks; Stay Away if unsure.

About the profit figures shown in these pages:
  • Time of BUY/SELL is shown in HHMM format. For example, 1025 means 10:25am; similarly 1439 means 14:39 hours or 2:39pm. These are approximate figures.
  • If a Suggest is mentioned in our Alerts, together with StopLoss and Targets, profit/loss will be shown only if the "See Above" ( > ) figure is crossed and reasonable profits or losses are generated. It is not necessary that Target figures are reached.
  • Once a See Above ( > ) figure is mentioned, we do not show a profit or loss in these pages unless this "trigger" is reached. "NIL" profit is reported if the trigger is not reached at all. If there is profit to be gained outside triggers, these are mentioned in our Alerts.
  • If any Suggest is not mentioned in our Alerts at all at any time throughout the day, "NIL" profit is reported for that Suggest. These do not give any opportunity as per our PricePoints either.
  • "MARGINAL" means that this Suggest neither gave any substantial profit, nor did it put a member into a serious loss situation — if you bought above the indicated level as per our Alert, there was ample chance to get out around that level later on, after you realise that prices are not going up. It can also mean that you should not have entered into this scrip in the first place, because of external circumstances.
  • Once a See Above ( > ) trigger point is mentioned for any Suggest, PricePoints for that Suggest are NOT to be followed any longer. Instead, you have to follow the levels given in our Alerts.
