For Today:

NIFTY Resistance levels are: 6170, 6220, 6260, 6300, 6330;
NIFTY Support levels are: 6130, 6110, 6080, 6050, 6030;

Pre-Market: 9:15am

Nifty is seen opening flat today, following down trend in other
Asian markets; Last Friday, there was a positive trend throuhout
the day, plus the Nifty gave another sharp upside in the last few
minutes to scale back above the 6150 level and end the day 1.05%
higher; On Friday, US stocks ended lower on options-related trading,
with S&P 500 facing resistance as economic data continues to come
lower; Asian markets are trading with negative bias today with China
shares hitting their two-week low as mainland news reports stoked
fears that the banks have stopped extending loans to property-related
companies. Back home, the Nifty has strong Resistance at 6140 and
6170; While 6140 seems to be overtaken, we need to cross over 6170
for sustained progress; We feel, markets will have a bearish view as
long as 6170 is not taken on the upside and we may fall down to 5960
if 6110-6100 is breached on the downside; As before, Follow only
specific stocks; Act quickly when you get a good chance; Take
small profits, and exit; Repeat, if possible;
INR-US$ is at 62.1450; WTI Crude is at $102.20

24Feb(11:00) Mkt -ve & Choppy; No Suggest gave profit; Hold
SUNTV>359 if in; Watch AMBUJACEM>163 HINDPETRO>254
POLARIS>147 if mkt turns up now; See Site -INTDAY

ALERT-2: 11:00am

Nifty has remained choppy in the red since opening today, but
a slight positive bias is seen to develop now; Nifty around 6150;
None of our Suggests could give any profits in LONG following the
levels we had given in the last Update; If you have taken entry with
SUNTV at 359 as per the last Update, Hold SUNTV>359 with a StopLoss
of 356; At this time, you can watch AMBUJACEM>163 HINDPETRO>254
POLARIS>147 if market turns up now; Asian markets are all in the red
with China over -2% down; The Rupee is good at 62.1150 now; The
Nifty Resistance of 6140 had come into play again today morning due
to the gap-down opening, and is still not crossed technically; But with
the slight positive trend coming in, the Nifty should be able to cross
this Resistance and go into the green soon; Crossing the Resistance
of 6170 will be difficult; Be very sure and confident if you want
to get in for LONG; Consider all angles; Get in and out quickly
with small profits; Stay Away if you are uncertain.

SMS-3

24Feb(12:30) Mkt green & +ve; DISHMAN SUNTV gave profit;
Hold SUNTV>361 if in; Watch DISHMAN>88; AMBUJACEM
POLARIS Marginal; Await Europe; See Site -INTDAY

ALERT-3: 12:30pm

Nifty has progressed smartly into the green with a positive bias
exactly as we had expected; The Resistance of 6140 has finally
been crossed but the Nifty has come to a stop at the next and
strong Resistance of 6170, again, as we had expected; Nifty
around 6170 now; DISHMAN SUNTV gave some profits in LONG
following the levels we gave today; DISHMAN should have
been in at 86 and out at 88; SUNTV should have been out
at 361; If still in, Hold SUNTV>361 with a StopLoss of 358;
Watch DISHMAN>88 if market turns up with good volumes; Also,
AMBUJACEM POLARIS were Marginal at 163 and 147 respectively;
Asian markets are all in the red; Europe opening is uncertain, but
expected to open mostly in red; The Rupee is, however, still holding
strong at 62.1025 now; For our market, the Nifty needs to cross the
Resistance of 6170 with good confidence for more upside to come;
Although this will be difficult, we expect this to happen today;
Be careful if you want to enter fresh at this time; Consider
all angles before entering fresh now in LONG; Do not force
anything; Do not take big risks; Stay Away if you are not sure.

SMS-4

24Feb(2:30) Mkt in green; +ve bias; DISHMAN SUNTV gave profit;
Hold SUNTV>368; DISHMAN>88.25 TATASTEEL>370 good for LONG
if upsurge holds now; See Site -INTDAY

ALERT-4: 2:30pm

The Nifty has maintained the positive bias we reported last time,
and has been able to cross the stiff Resistance of 6170, as we
had estimated; Nifty around 6180 now; Positive bias is still on;
Meanwhile, DISHMAN SUNTV could add to their profits in LONG,
following the levels we had given; DISHMAN should have been
out at 88.25; SUNTV should have been out at 368; If you are
still in, Hold SUNTV>368 with a StopLoss of 364; At this time,
DISHMAN>88.25 TATASTEEL>370 look good for LONG if upsurge
holds in the last hour; Markets in Asia are closing all in the red;
Europe is trading mixed but most markets are fluctuating around
the line; But the Rupee is going strong and is at 61.9600 now;
For our market, we feel that the Nifty will continue to hold
its gains and give a closing around 6200 today; Be very
careful about sudden downsides if you want to get in
now; Do not force anything; If you have made your
profits today with DISHMAN or SUNTV, it is best
to avoid any further trading today;
Today we will close green.

About the profit figures shown in these pages:
  • Time of BUY/SELL is shown in HHMM format. For example, 1025 means 10:25am; similarly 1439 means 14:39 hours or 2:39pm. These are approximate figures.
  • If a Suggest is mentioned in our Alerts, together with StopLoss and Targets, profit/loss will be shown only if the "See Above" ( > ) figure is crossed and reasonable profits or losses are generated. It is not necessary that Target figures are reached.
  • Once a See Above ( > ) figure is mentioned, we do not show a profit or loss in these pages unless this "trigger" is reached. "NIL" profit is reported if the trigger is not reached at all. If there is profit to be gained outside triggers, these are mentioned in our Alerts.
  • If any Suggest is not mentioned in our Alerts at all at any time throughout the day, "NIL" profit is reported for that Suggest. These do not give any opportunity as per our PricePoints either.
  • "MARGINAL" means that this Suggest neither gave any substantial profit, nor did it put a member into a serious loss situation — if you bought above the indicated level as per our Alert, there was ample chance to get out around that level later on, after you realise that prices are not going up. It can also mean that you should not have entered into this scrip in the first place, because of external circumstances.
  • Once a See Above ( > ) trigger point is mentioned for any Suggest, PricePoints for that Suggest are NOT to be followed any longer. Instead, you have to follow the levels given in our Alerts.
