NIFTY Support levels are: 5980, 5960, 5930, 5880, 5860;

Pre-Market: 9:15am

A flat to slight gap-up opening is expected in our markets today,
following mixed global cues; Yesterday, the Nifty suffered deep
losses as profit booking was severe throughout the day; US stocks
rose yesterday, with the Nasdaq up for a sixth straight session,
as investors looked past disappointing data on jobs and consumer
spending; Asian shares are up today morning as investors digested
the latest batch of Chinese data for further trading cues; Back
home, the government will unveil data on inflation based on the
wholesale price index (WPI) for January 2014 today, but the mood
still remain cautious; WPI Inflation is likely to reduce to 5.5%
in January as compared to 6.2% in December; This should bring in
some cheer; But the interim Union Budget to be placed in parliament
on Monday remains a big drag on markets; Experts say the Nifty has
resumed its declining trend and the target to watch out would be
around 5800 levels for the index, now that 6030 has been breached;
Resistance at 6100 has now become super-strong and needs to be
crossed for any meaningful upside by the Nifty in future; There is
a lot of uncertainty today, so be patient and choosy; Follow
specific stocks; Act quickly when you get a good chance;
Take small profits, and exit; Repeat, if possible;
INR-US$ is at 62.2800; WTI Crude is at $100.35

Nifty has remained flat and choppy just above the line at 6000
after the last Update; The Nifty is at 6010 now; Support of 6000
is holding; Meanwhile, FRL was able to give good profits in LONG

Watch CROMPGREAV>124.50 PFC>147.50 now if market turns up;
Asian markets, except Japan, are all in the green; The Rupee is

ALERT-3: 12:30pm

Nifty has been choppy since the last Update, and the inflation data
did not seem to have any effect in our market; Nifty around 6015
now; Support of 6000 is still holding; If you had been holding on
to TATAMOTORS till now, you could have exited at 385.50; PFC was
Marginal at 147.50; At this time, watch FRL>94 DLF>144 for LONG

is expected in our markets; Range-bound trading above 6000
with slight positive bias should continue; Europe opening might
have some effect; Consider all angles before entering fresh
now; Do not take any risks; Do not force anything;

SMS-4

14Feb(2:30) Mkt in green; Choppy; TATAMOTORS added profit;
TATAMOTORS>386 look good for more in LONG if upsurge
strengthens in last hour; See Site -INTDAY

ALERT-4: 2:30pm

The Nifty had remained range-bound above the line around 6000
for most part of the day, but has suddenly seen some fluctuations;
The Nifty first fell to about 5980 and then has given a sharp rise
till about 6040 in the last 30-minutes; Nifty around 6030 now;
Meanwhile, if you were still holding TATAMOTORS, you should
have exited at 386; TATAMOTORS>386 look good for more in
LONG if upsurge strengthens in last hour; All Suggests can give
profits in LONG if upsurge holds; Markets in Asia, except Japan,
are in the green; Europe is trading mixed; For our market, we feel
that the strong upward momentum of the last half-hour will take
the Nifty above the Resistance of 6050 and give a closing around
that level; But, as we said earlier today, if you have made your
profits in the morning with FRL, do not become over ambitious;
Best to avoid getting in fresh in such markets, unless you
get an extremely good chance; Then, get in and out
quickly; Do not force anything;
Today we will close green.

About the profit figures shown in these pages:
  • Time of BUY/SELL is shown in HHMM format. For example, 1025 means 10:25am; similarly 1439 means 14:39 hours or 2:39pm. These are approximate figures.
  • If a Suggest is mentioned in our Alerts, together with StopLoss and Targets, profit/loss will be shown only if the "See Above" ( > ) figure is crossed and reasonable profits or losses are generated. It is not necessary that Target figures are reached.
  • Once a See Above ( > ) figure is mentioned, we do not show a profit or loss in these pages unless this "trigger" is reached. "NIL" profit is reported if the trigger is not reached at all. If there is profit to be gained outside triggers, these are mentioned in our Alerts.
  • If any Suggest is not mentioned in our Alerts at all at any time throughout the day, "NIL" profit is reported for that Suggest. These do not give any opportunity as per our PricePoints either.
  • "MARGINAL" means that this Suggest neither gave any substantial profit, nor did it put a member into a serious loss situation — if you bought above the indicated level as per our Alert, there was ample chance to get out around that level later on, after you realise that prices are not going up. It can also mean that you should not have entered into this scrip in the first place, because of external circumstances.
  • Once a See Above ( > ) trigger point is mentioned for any Suggest, PricePoints for that Suggest are NOT to be followed any longer. Instead, you have to follow the levels given in our Alerts.
