For Today:

NIFTY Resistance levels are: 6050, 6070, 6100, 6140, 6180;
NIFTY Support levels are: 6000, 5970, 5940, 5920, 5880;

Pre-Market: 9:15am

A gap-up opening is expected in our markets today, tracking positive
global cues; Yesterday, the Nifty started flat, but suffered a sudden
80-point un-triggered fall at around 10:30am; After this initial and
abrupt decline, the Nifty steadily recovered from the day's low and
closed with marginal gains; Overnight, US stocks rallied after good
company results, and a marked drop in applications for unemployment
insurance boosted confidence in the economy; Asian shares regained
strength ahead of the widely-followed US payrolls report for January
which will be out later today; A strong US jobs growth will reaffirm
investors that the world's biggest economy is on track; At home,
there are no domestic cues expected today, and the overall mood
is still cautious; We expect the slight positive trend seen in the
last three days to continue today also; As we have said before,
the strength of this current recovery will largely depend on
global cues, as there are no domestic cues expected; Nifty will
cross the strong Resistance of 6040-6050 at the start today;
Next Resistance is at 6070; On the lower side, 5970 has proved
to be very strong even in yesterday's sudden fall, and should
hold for now; The mood remains cautious as long as Nifty
trades below 6140; Follow specific stocks; Be patient
and choosy; Act quickly when you see a good
chance; Take small profits, and exit;
Repeat, if possible;
INR-US$ is at 62.2800; WTI Crude is at $97.84

gave in our last Update; Watch now Watch PFC>146.50 TITAN>227.50

ALERT-3: 12:45pm

profits in LONG if market upsurge comes; Asian markets are all
in the green; Europe is also expected to open in the green; The
Rupee is holding at 62.2900; For our market, we are hoping that
the Nifty will cross the Resistance of 6070 now and proceed to
the 6100-mark by closing today; This will be possible if Europe
opens and then trades positive; Consider all angles
before entering fresh now; Do not take any risks;
Do not force anything; Stay Away if you are

SMS-4

07Feb(2:30) Mkt in green; -ve bias; Very choppy; 2 Suggests
gave profit; Hold COALINDIA>269 if in; No other Suggest
looks good now for LONG; See Site -INTDAY

ALERT-4: 2:30pm

The Nifty has developed a negative bias and has taken a sudden
big fall exactly like yesterday; That happened in the morning, this
happened at 1pm; Without any trigger; Although the Nifty is still
in the green, a negative bias has set in; Nifty around 6050; Had
touched a low of 6035 from a high of 6080 in this fall; Meanwhile,
two of our Suggests could give small profits in LONG as per the
levels we gave in our last Update; COALINDIA should have been
in at 267.50 and out at 268.50; If in, Hold COALINDIA>269
with a StopLoss of 266; TATAMOTORS should have been in at
361 and out at 363; No other Suggest looks good for LONG
at this time; All markets in Asia and Europe are trading in the
green, but our markets have suddenly seen some profit-booking;
The Rupee is also holding at 62.3800; We expect the Nifty to go
down some more but the Support of 6040 should hold; We expect the
closing around that level today; As always, be alert for sudden profit
booking falls; It has already happens once today and might
return anytime; Get in only if you get an extremely good
opportunity; Then, get in and out quickly; Do not
force anything; Today we will close green.

About the profit figures shown in these pages:
  • Time of BUY/SELL is shown in HHMM format. For example, 1025 means 10:25am; similarly 1439 means 14:39 hours or 2:39pm. These are approximate figures.
  • If a Suggest is mentioned in our Alerts, together with StopLoss and Targets, profit/loss will be shown only if the "See Above" ( > ) figure is crossed and reasonable profits or losses are generated. It is not necessary that Target figures are reached.
  • Once a See Above ( > ) figure is mentioned, we do not show a profit or loss in these pages unless this "trigger" is reached. "NIL" profit is reported if the trigger is not reached at all. If there is profit to be gained outside triggers, these are mentioned in our Alerts.
  • If any Suggest is not mentioned in our Alerts at all at any time throughout the day, "NIL" profit is reported for that Suggest. These do not give any opportunity as per our PricePoints either.
  • "MARGINAL" means that this Suggest neither gave any substantial profit, nor did it put a member into a serious loss situation — if you bought above the indicated level as per our Alert, there was ample chance to get out around that level later on, after you realise that prices are not going up. It can also mean that you should not have entered into this scrip in the first place, because of external circumstances.
  • Once a See Above ( > ) trigger point is mentioned for any Suggest, PricePoints for that Suggest are NOT to be followed any longer. Instead, you have to follow the levels given in our Alerts.

  2. 'Approx. 1st. Entry Point' is the price at which 'first' entry is made.

  4. 'No. of Shares Traded' is calculated on 15k investment and 4x exposure (15000x4=60000) normally allowed by online brokering houses for intraday trading.
  5. 'Approx. Profit per Share' is cumulative of all entries.
