Pre-Market: 9:15am

Slight Gap-up opening is expected in our markets today, following
positive global cues; Yesterday, the Nifty suffered a steep and sudden
fall from steady positions when RBI announced a rise in repo rates; The
market managed to stage a comeback after that and close flat, but could
not get into the positive zone due to heavy FII selling; Overnight, US
stocks bounced back after Pfizer's upbeat results gave investors some
relief from the pain of the Dow's five-day losing streak, and the market's
focus turned to the Federal Reserve's next move on stimulus expected to
be out after today; Asian shares were trading with positive bias ahead
of the outcome of US Federal Reserve's meeting; The US central bank is
widely expected to trim its asset buying program by another $10 billion
a month; At home, the severity of the fall yesterday and the gap down
action on Monday, has formed a Head & Shoulder pattern on the weekly
line charts; This suggests there may be a bounce back till 6180-6200
in the next few sessions but the bounce may not sustain; The Nifty
may eventually decline till 6070 or lower to 5970, if 6130 is taken
out on the lower side; 6180-6200 is still stiff Resistance area on
the high side; Follow specific stocks; Be patient and choosy;
Act quickly when you see a good chance; Take small
profits, and exit; Repeat, if possible;
INR-US$ is at 62.5500; WTI Crude is at $97.41

29Jan(11:00) Mkt +ve & flat; GLENMARK gave profit;
Watch GLENMARK>563 HINDUNILVR>576 now if
market turns up; See Site -INTDAY

ALERT-2: 11:00am

Nifty has been very flat and choppy and has remained around
6160 after our last Update; No bias is seen and the negative trend
we spoke of, did not come about; Of our Suggests, only GLENMARK
could give some profits in LONG following the levels we had given;
GLENMARK should have been in at 560 and out 563; At this time,
watch GLENMARK>563 HINDUNILVR>576 if market turns up and
upsurge comes in with volumes; Asian markets are in the green
except Taiwan; The Rupee is also recovering and is at 62.1200
now; We expect the Nifty to hold initial gains and slowly
move up; Be very certain if you want to get in for
LONG in such flat market; Exit quickly with
small profits; Stay Away if you are uncertain.

SMS-3

29Jan(12:30) Mkt in green; Going Choppy & Flat; No Suggest
gave profit; Watch HINDALCO>113 ITC>327; GLENMARK
APOLLOTYRE stuck; Await Europe; See Site -INTDAY

ALERT-3: 12:30pm

Nifty has remained flat and choppy between 6150 and 6170 since
opening today; Nifty doing well to hold on to opening gains; But
once again, a slight negative bias may develop now; None of
our Suggests could give any profits in LONG following the levels
we had given in the last Update; HINDALCO>113 ITC>327 looks
good for profits in LONG if market turns up and upsurge comes with
volumes; GLENMARK(558) APOLLOTYRE(110) are stuck at the levels
shown; Asian markets, except Taiwan and Singapore, are in the green;
The Rupee has progressed some more and is at 62.0700 now; Europe
is expected to open mostly green; For our market, we expect the
Nifty to maintain current range bound trading; But be careful
of the slight negative trend that might set in; Be careful if
you want to enter fresh now; Do not take unnecessary
risks; Do not force anything; Stay Away if you
are not certain of your actions.

About the profit figures shown in these pages:
  • Time of BUY/SELL is shown in HHMM format. For example, 1025 means 10:25am; similarly 1439 means 14:39 hours or 2:39pm. These are approximate figures.
  • If a Suggest is mentioned in our Alerts, together with StopLoss and Targets, profit/loss will be shown only if the "See Above" ( > ) figure is crossed and reasonable profits or losses are generated. It is not necessary that Target figures are reached.
  • Once a See Above ( > ) figure is mentioned, we do not show a profit or loss in these pages unless this "trigger" is reached. "NIL" profit is reported if the trigger is not reached at all. If there is profit to be gained outside triggers, these are mentioned in our Alerts.
  • If any Suggest is not mentioned in our Alerts at all at any time throughout the day, "NIL" profit is reported for that Suggest. These do not give any opportunity as per our PricePoints either.
  • "MARGINAL" means that this Suggest neither gave any substantial profit, nor did it put a member into a serious loss situation — if you bought above the indicated level as per our Alert, there was ample chance to get out around that level later on, after you realise that prices are not going up. It can also mean that you should not have entered into this scrip in the first place, because of external circumstances.
  • Once a See Above ( > ) trigger point is mentioned for any Suggest, PricePoints for that Suggest are NOT to be followed any longer. Instead, you have to follow the levels given in our Alerts.

  2. 'Approx. 1st. Entry Point' is the price at which 'first' entry is made.
  3. There can be more than one entry. Price for subsequent entries not shown.
  4. 'No. of Shares Traded' is calculated on 15k investment and 4x exposure (15000x4=60000) normally allowed by online brokering houses for intraday trading.
  5. 'Approx. Profit per Share' is cumulative of all entries.
  6. Figures within curly brackets {} stand for SHORT sell profits.
