Pre-Market: 9:15am

Flat to slight Gap-up opening is expected in our markets today,
based on changing global cues; Yesterday, the Nifty suffered a
huge big fall and the Supports of 6270-6250 and even 6200 were
breached on opening itself; The Nifty yesterday finally managed to
hold 6100-level on closing; Overnight, US stocks extended losses
with the S&P 500 falling for a third straight session as concern
grew about the Federal Reserve's plans for withdrawing stimulus;
Asian shares are pinned near five-month lows yesterday as turmoil
in emerging markets and concerns about an economic slowdown
in China took their toll; Things are turning around today morning;
At home, RBI's monetary policy review is due today; In a poll with
experts, 85 per cent of the respondents expect the central bank
to maintain status quo on repo rates, 10 per cent expect repo
rate to be cut by 25 bps; The US Fed's two-day policy meeting
begins today and many leading experts are predicting markets
to sell off if the Fed decides to keep withdrawing stimulus; For
today, 6130 is the level to watch on the lower side, as any
breach of this level can start a sell-off till 5970; On the high
side, 6180-6200 is stiff Resistance area now; But further
direction will depend on RBI announcements; Follow
specific stocks; Be patient and choosy; Act quickly
when you see a good chance; Take small
profits, and exit; Repeat, if possible;
INR-US$ is at 63.1800; WTI Crude is at $95.72

in the 6110-6120 band; Both Supports at 6080 and 6120 are back

but Japan has turned marginally red; The Rupee has also taken a fall
and is at 62.9125 now; Europe opening is expected to be flat; For
our market, we expect the Nifty to recover from the sudden fall and
slowly get back to the green by closing today; Be very careful if
you want to enter fresh at this stage; Do not take unnecessary

are not certain of your actions.

About the profit figures shown in these pages:
  • Time of BUY/SELL is shown in HHMM format. For example, 1025 means 10:25am; similarly 1439 means 14:39 hours or 2:39pm. These are approximate figures.
  • If a Suggest is mentioned in our Alerts, together with StopLoss and Targets, profit/loss will be shown only if the "See Above" ( > ) figure is crossed and reasonable profits or losses are generated. It is not necessary that Target figures are reached.
  • Once a See Above ( > ) figure is mentioned, we do not show a profit or loss in these pages unless this "trigger" is reached. "NIL" profit is reported if the trigger is not reached at all. If there is profit to be gained outside triggers, these are mentioned in our Alerts.
  • If any Suggest is not mentioned in our Alerts at all at any time throughout the day, "NIL" profit is reported for that Suggest. These do not give any opportunity as per our PricePoints either.
  • "MARGINAL" means that this Suggest neither gave any substantial profit, nor did it put a member into a serious loss situation — if you bought above the indicated level as per our Alert, there was ample chance to get out around that level later on, after you realise that prices are not going up. It can also mean that you should not have entered into this scrip in the first place, because of external circumstances.
  • Once a See Above ( > ) trigger point is mentioned for any Suggest, PricePoints for that Suggest are NOT to be followed any longer. Instead, you have to follow the levels given in our Alerts.

  5. 'Approx. Profit per Share' is cumulative of all entries.
