For Today:

NIFTY Support levels are: 5880, 5850, 5820, 5780, 5740;

Pre-Market: 9:15am

Slight Gap-down opening expected today for our markets following
negative Asian cues; Yesterday, the Nifty gave a positive display
throughout the day and continued with its upward march, closing
above 5900 levels with gains of 130 points on the back of good
buying across the board by foreign institutional investors; The
Nifty rallied further on short-covering after it rose above the
200-DMA which is at 5840; Overnight, US stocks fell as the govt
shutdown enters third day with no signs of a clear solution; Asian
markets were trading lower as the US budget standoff dragged on,
heightening fears it could become embroiled in a struggle later this
month to raise the US borrowing limit; At home, markets seems to
be in bullish territory; The Support for LONG positions is at 5800
with immediate Resistance at 5950; But be careful, as profit taking
would emerge at higher levels after gains in the previous sessions;
As mentioned earlier, earnings for the 2nd quarter ended Sept 30,
monthly inflation data and monetary policy meet of RBI will drive
the market in the days to come; For today, flat and choppy trade
with a slight positive bias is predicted; The Rupee should hold
the 61-level; Watch out for FII investment also; For Intraday
in LONG: Follow specific stocks; Be patient and choosy;
Act quickly when you see an opportunity; Do not take
unnecessary big risks; Take small profits, repeat;
INR-US$ is at 61.8650; WTI Crude is at $103.31

ALERT-2: 11:00am

Nifty has taken a good fall after our last Alert; Has fallen
60-points from about 5950 to below 5890; Nifty just below 5900
now; Has flattened out; Going flat and choppy in the red; None of
our Suggests could give any profits in LONG as per the levels we
had given in our last Alert; All look good for profits in LONG if
upsurge comes now with volumes; Look at these levels: IDFC>94.50
HINDALCO>117 TATAGLOBAL>155 AMBUJACEM>192 BANKINDIA>174
VOLTAS>82.25; Asian markets are almost all in the red; The Rupee is
holding well and is at 61.4400 now; We expect the Nifty to continue
to trade flat and choppy; But lack of positive inputs can drag the
market down further; As we said in the morning update, profit
taking might emerge after good gains in the previous sessions;
Be careful and wait for a proper chance; Get in only when you
are absolutely sure; Do not take hasty decisions; Exit
with minimum profits; Do not take big risks;
Stay Away if you are not sure.

SMS-3

04Oct(12:30) Mkt green; +ve; HINDALCO gave profit;

ALERT-3: 12:30pm

Nifty has shown good positive trend and has recovered into
the green after our last Alert; Nifty level of 5880 has acted as
strong Support and the Nifty has bounced back from there; It is
at 5935 now; Highest for the day and Resistance for today is at
5950; Nifty needs to cross this for more upside; Meanwhile, only
HINDALCO could give small profits in LONG following the levels
we had given in the last Alert; HINDALCO should have been in at
117 and out at 118; If you are still in, Hold HINDALCO>118 with a
StopLoss of 116; If you have entered BANKINDIA at 174 as per our
last Alert, Hold BANKINDIA>174 with a StopLoss of 172; Others are
stuck at these levels: TATAGLOBAL(153.50) AMBUJACEM(190.50)
IDFC(94) VOLTAS(81); All can give profits in LONG if upsurge
strengthens and the Nifty crosses 5950 with volumes; Asian
markets are closing mostly in red; Europe opening is expected
mostly in the red; Global cues are not helpful; But the Rupee is
holding ground and is at 61.4050 now; We expect the Nifty to
hold gains and remain above 5900; It will be difficult to cross
5950 without some outside help; Lack of positive inputs
can pull down the markets also from these levels; Follow
specific stocks; Get in only if you are sure; Exit with
small profits; Do not take big risks;
Stay Away if you are not sure.

SMS-4

04Oct(2:30) Mkt in green; +ve bias; HINDALCO AMBUJACEM
BANKINDIA gave profit; All 3 good for more in LONG if
upsurge comes again in last hour; See Site -INTDAY

ALERT-4: 2:30pm

Nifty has levelled out after our last Alert and has stayed in
the 5920-5950 band since about 12 noon; Strong Resistance of
5950 is yet to be crossed today; Meanwhile, 3 of our Suggests
could add slightly to their profits in LONG; HINDALCO should
have been out at 119.50; AMBUJACEM should have been in at
191.50 and out at 192.50; BANKINDIA should have been out at
175; All 3 good for more profits in LONG if upsurge comes again
in last hour; Most Asian markets are closing in the red; Europe
is trading mixed with key markets in the red; No help from global
markets; The Rupee is still holding to 61-level and is at 61.4600;
We expect the Nifty to keep holding the present position and
end today with a 5900+ closing; Be careful if you want to
get in now; Do not take unnecessary risks in last hour;
Do not risk profits already made;
Today we will close green.

About the profit figures shown in these pages:
  • Time of BUY/SELL is shown in HHMM format. For example, 1025 means 10:25am; similarly 1439 means 14:39 hours or 2:39pm. These are approximate figures.
  • If a Suggest is mentioned in our Alerts, together with StopLoss and Targets, profit/loss will be shown only if the "See Above" ( > ) figure is crossed and reasonable profits or losses are generated. It is not necessary that Target figures are reached.
  • Once a See Above ( > ) figure is mentioned, we do not show a profit or loss in these pages unless this "trigger" is reached. "NIL" profit is reported if the trigger is not reached at all. If there is profit to be gained outside triggers, these are mentioned in our Alerts.
  • If any Suggest is not mentioned in our Alerts at all at any time throughout the day, "NIL" profit is reported for that Suggest. These do not give any opportunity as per our PricePoints either.
  • "MARGINAL" means that this Suggest neither gave any substantial profit, nor did it put a member into a serious loss situation — if you bought above the indicated level as per our Alert, there was ample chance to get out around that level later on, after you realise that prices are not going up. It can also mean that you should not have entered into this scrip in the first place, because of external circumstances.
  • Once a See Above ( > ) trigger point is mentioned for any Suggest, PricePoints for that Suggest are NOT to be followed any longer. Instead, you have to follow the levels given in our Alerts.

  2. 'Approx. 1st. Entry Point' is the price at which 'first' entry is made.
  3. There can be more than one entry. Price for subsequent entries not shown.
  4. 'No. of Shares Traded' is calculated on 15k investment and 4x exposure (15000x4=60000) normally allowed by online brokering houses for intraday trading.
  5. 'Approx. Profit per Share' is cumulative of all entries.
  6. Figures within curly brackets {} stand for SHORT sell profits.
