Pre-Market: 9:00am

Our market is to open lower today also following
negative global cues; Yesterday, the Nifty went down
and down throughout the day to close at the day's low;
No attempt on a turnaround was seen at the end; This
means more decline; Overnight, US stocks ended lower
for a second straight day after reports cast doubt
over the health of the US and euro-zone economies;
In Europe, business activity indexes dealt a blow to
hopes that the euro zone might emerge from recession
soon; Asian shares edged higher today morning, in an
effort to make up the previous day's steep losses,
as investors reassessed the Fed's commitment to its
current accommodative policy; At home, we still do
not have any local events to drive our market; Global
cues are expected to rule; More shorts have been built
into the market yesterday, that will be released at
some point despite global cues; We had expected some
of this to come yesterday in the second half, but that
never happened; Let us see what happens today; The
Budgets and expected rate cut in the RBI review
of monetary policy next month are focus points;
INR-US$ is at 54.4750; WTI Crude is at $93.47;

NIFTY Resistance levels today are: 5860, 5890, 5910, 5940, 5980;
NIFTY Support levels are at: 5840, 5810, 5770, 5750, 5720;

Gap-down opening and cautious, low-volume trading
is coming back at the start again today; Yesterday's
downward slant was halted at the key Support zone of
the Nifty at 5850-5840; If we get a lower opening
today, as is expected, and the Nifty breaks the 5850
mark today and gives a weekly closing below it, then
it could spell a lot of worry for short term traders;
The next crucial support for the market is at 5720; On
the upside, the 100 DEMA mark at 5950-5960 could be
crucial Nifty Resistance; On our part, we are even now
saying that there are high chances that the Nifty would
end this week on a positive note holding the 5900 mark;
For Intraday Trade in LONG today: We repeat what we
said yesterday: Some downside will come in the
beginning, but we should get good opportunities in
LONG later in the day; Be patient; Be alert and take
quick action when you get opportunity; Be stock specific;
Study all technical data before you commit your money;
Do not follow our Alerts blindly; Do not take big
risks; Take small profits and exit; Repeat,
if possible; Stay Away if not sure.

About the profit figures shown in these pages:
  • Time of BUY/SELL is shown in HHMM format. For example, 1025 means 10:25am; similarly 1439 means 14:39 hours or 2:39pm. These are approximate figures.
  • If a Suggest is mentioned in our Alerts, together with StopLoss and Targets, profit will be shown only if the 'See Above' figure is crossed positively and reasonable profits are generated. It is not necessary that Target figures are reached.
  • Once a See Above ( > ) figure is mentioned, we do not show a profit in these pages unless this figure is crossed positively. "Stay Away" is reported even if there is profit to be gained from this Suggest.
  • "Stay Away" is also reported for any Suggest that is not mentioned in our Alert which also does not give any opportunity as per our PricePoints.
  • "MARGINAL" means that this Suggest neither gave any substantial profit, nor did it put a member into a loss situation — if you bought above the indicated level as per our Alert, there was ample chance to get out around that level later on after you realise that prices are not going up. It can also mean that you should not have entered into this scrip in the first place, because of external circumstances.
  • Profit shown for any Suggest that is not mentioned in any Alert is as per our PricePoints. Reasonable profits will have to be generated — it is not necessary that any exact PricePoints are reached.

  4. 'No. of Shares Traded' is calculated on 15k investment and 4x exposure (15000x4=60000) normally allowed by online brokering houses for intraday trading.
  5. 'Approx. Profit per Share' is cumulative of all entries.
