Pre-Market: 9:00am

Our market is expected to open lower today following
negative global markets; Yesterday, the Nifty held a
20-point range throughout the day after a smart late
rally the day before; But it did manage to close above
the 5940-mark; Overnight, US stocks ended lower as
investors found few reasons to buy after a rally that
held major indexes near five-year highs; Asian stocks
are under pressure today morning tracking losses from
global peers after US Federal Reserve indicated that it
could slow its bond buying programme; At home, we have
no local events to drive our market even today, and the
market is expected to follow global cues; The short
covering rally that got stuck yesterday, may resume
despite global cues in the second half today; The
Budgets and expected rate cut in the RBI review
of monetary policy next month are focus points;
INR-US$ is at 54.0675; WTI Crude is at $94.76;

NIFTY Resistance levels today are: 5960, 5980, 6020, 6050, 6080;
NIFTY Support levels are at: 5940, 5910, 5880, 5840, 5810;

Gap-down opening and cautious, low-volume trading
is coming back at the start today; Yesterday we had a
very flat day; The day before's smart rally still has some
steam left that never came out yesterday; We expect to
see it come back today in the second half; Technically,
5850-5840 still remains a key Support for the Nifty
which is comfortably trading above its 200 DEMA which
is a positive sign for the long term investor; But the
Nifty is struggling to hold its ground above the crucial
100 DEMA, which is at 5960 levels; Weekly charts also
indicate a morning star pattern, which is again a positive
sign, indicating that there are high chances that Nifty
would end this week on a positive note holding the 5900
mark; For Intraday Trade in LONG today: Some downside
will come in the beginning today; But we should get good
opportunities in LONG later in the day; Be patient; Be
alert and take quick action when you get opportunity;
Be stock specific; Study all technical data before you
commit your money; Do not follow our Alerts blindly;
Do not take big risks; Take small profits and exit;
Repeat, if possible; Stay Away if not sure.

About the profit figures shown in these pages:
  • Time of BUY/SELL is shown in HHMM format. For example, 1025 means 10:25am; similarly 1439 means 14:39 hours or 2:39pm. These are approximate figures.
  • If a Suggest is mentioned in our Alerts, together with StopLoss and Targets, profit will be shown only if the 'See Above' figure is crossed positively and reasonable profits are generated. It is not necessary that Target figures are reached.
  • Once a See Above ( > ) figure is mentioned, we do not show a profit in these pages unless this figure is crossed positively. "Stay Away" is reported even if there is profit to be gained from this Suggest.
  • "Stay Away" is also reported for any Suggest that is not mentioned in our Alert which also does not give any opportunity as per our PricePoints.
  • "MARGINAL" means that this Suggest neither gave any substantial profit, nor did it put a member into a loss situation — if you bought above the indicated level as per our Alert, there was ample chance to get out around that level later on after you realise that prices are not going up. It can also mean that you should not have entered into this scrip in the first place, because of external circumstances.
  • Profit shown for any Suggest that is not mentioned in any Alert is as per our PricePoints. Reasonable profits will have to be generated — it is not necessary that any exact PricePoints are reached.

  5. 'Approx. Profit per Share' is cumulative of all entries.
