ALERTS for Tuesday, 19-Feb-2013

SMS Pre-Market

Valid for date: 19-Feb-2013; All for LONG;
See site for full Details

Pre-Market: 9:00am

Our market is expected to open flat today tracking
mixed Asian markets; Yesterday, the Nifty went above
5900 and stayed there most of the day only to give
up some gain late in the day abd close below that
psychological level; US markets were closed for the
President's Day holiday on Monday; Asian shares
are trading mixed as holiday in the US overnight
capped gains; The Nikkei stock average opened down
0.6%, after closing up 2.1% on yesterday to approach
its highest level since September 2008; At home,
beside the Union Budget, focus has shifted to the
expected repo rate cut in the mid-quarter RBI review
of monetary policy next month;No other triggers;
INR-US$ is at 54.2630; WTI Crude is at $95.42;

NIFTY Resistance levels today are: 5900, 5925, 5940, 5980, 6010;
NIFTY Support levels are at: 5880, 5840, 5810, 5770, 5750;

Flat opening and cautious low-volume trading is
expected at the start today; Yesterday's trading
pattern was more-or-less same as in the week before
except that the timing was different; We still gave
up the early gains at the end to profit booking;
This is happening as we do not have enough internal
strength to pull us up and keep us there; Today also,
technically, Nifty may see a pullback till 5960-5980
levels but whether we'll be able to hold on to that
level is doubtful; However, the govt's cancelling
of Rs12000 crore bond auctions will put some money
on the board, which might help; Nifty-5880 is still
holding; That and 5850 needs to hold for some upside;
For Intraday Trade in LONG today: No change in approach;
Volatility will be high as budgets come closer; Quick
changes are expected; Be alert and take quick action
when you get an opportunity; Be stock specific; Study
all technical data before you commit your money; Do
not follow our Alerts blindly; Do not take big risks;
Take small profits and exit; Repeat, if possible;
Stay Away if not sure.

support is at 5855; Range-bound and low volume
trading is likely to continue until we get some

About the profit figures shown in these pages:
  • Time of BUY/SELL is shown in HHMM format. For example, 1025 means 10:25am; similarly 1439 means 14:39 hours or 2:39pm. These are approximate figures.
  • If a Suggest is mentioned in our Alerts, together with StopLoss and Targets, profit will be shown only if the 'See Above' figure is crossed positively and reasonable profits are generated. It is not necessary that Target figures are reached.
  • Once a See Above ( > ) figure is mentioned, we do not show a profit in these pages unless this figure is crossed positively. "Stay Away" is reported even if there is profit to be gained from this Suggest.
  • "Stay Away" is also reported for any Suggest that is not mentioned in our Alert which also does not give any opportunity as per our PricePoints.
  • "MARGINAL" means that this Suggest neither gave any substantial profit, nor did it put a member into a loss situation — if you bought above the indicated level as per our Alert, there was ample chance to get out around that level later on after you realise that prices are not going up. It can also mean that you should not have entered into this scrip in the first place, because of external circumstances.
  • Profit shown for any Suggest that is not mentioned in any Alert is as per our PricePoints. Reasonable profits will have to be generated — it is not necessary that any exact PricePoints are reached.

  2. 'Approx. 1st. Entry Point' is the price at which 'first' entry is made.
  3. There can be more than one entry. Price for subsequent entries not shown.
  4. 'No. of Shares Traded' is calculated on 15k investment and 4x exposure (15000x4=60000) normally allowed by online brokering houses for intraday trading.
  5. 'Approx. Profit per Share' is cumulative of all entries.
  6. Figures within curly brackets {} stand for SHORT sell profits.
  7. All figures are indicative only.
  8. Profit figures given at our website are "estimates" only and do not take into account brokerage charges and other operational costs. This is because these charges can vary widely across the country and it will be misleading to give any one figure that is applicable in any one region in India.  TOP
