Pre-Market: 9:00am

Gap-up opening and good, positive trading expected today;
The Nifty extended its winning streak for fourth consecutive
session yesterday and briefly touched its crucial Resistance
level of 5800; It is expected to cross this hurdle today;
Overnight, US stocks extended gains after the jobs report
data showed encouraging signs for the labour market; Asian
shares edged higher after the European Central Bank said it
was ready to buy bonds of troubled Euro-zone countries;
Tokyo's Nikkei stock average opened up 0.3%; China is
still on holiday; At home, the Cabinet yesterday approved
allowing 49% FDI in insurance; It also allowed upto 26%
FDI in Pension Funds; The proposed changes to both bills
will have to be cleared by both houses of Parliament before
they can come into effect; This might not be easy going;
INR-US$ is at 51.6100; WTI Crude is at $91.51;

NIFTY Resistance levels today are: 5800, 5830, 5850, 5900;
NIFTY Support levels are at: 5770, 5740, 5720, 5690, 5670;

The Nifty is expected to open higher today tracking positive
Asian markets; Experts say that the index has registered a
fresh breakout on the charts and has managed to close above
the breakout level; Our markets are likely to continue its
good run with more gains today as global peers advanced in
US and Asia. At the domestic level, the policy changes and
reform measures are also likely to boost sentiment; The
momentum is likely to take the Nifty higher up to 5900
in the short term; We feel that we will open gap-up and
have some downside initially; It will be difficult to
extend gains; We will be vulnerable to profit taking
downsides if there is no sustained positive activity;
But overall, the gains of the week will be carried on;
For Intraday: Remember, such markets are very good for
Positional traders but give very limited scope for Intraday
trading in LONG; So, do not get over excited; Do not lose
focus; Do not be tempted to get in at every opportunity;
Choose your entries carefully; Stick to your targets; Get
out once they are reached; Play quick & play smart when
you get the opportunity; Do not follow our Alerts blindly;
Consider all angles before you actually commit your money;
Do not take big risks; Take small profits and exit;
Repeat, if possible.

About the profit figures shown in these pages:
  • Time of BUY/SELL is shown in HHMM format. For example, 1025 means 10:25am; similarly 1439 means 14:39 hours or 2:39pm. These are approximate figures.
  • If a Suggest is mentioned in our Alerts, together with StopLoss and Targets, profit will be shown only if the 'See Above' figure is crossed positively and reasonable profits are generated. It is not necessary that Target figures are reached.
  • Once a See Above ( > ) figure is mentioned, we do not show a profit in these pages unless this figure is crossed positively. "Stay Away" is reported even if there is profit to be gained from this Suggest.
  • "Stay Away" is also reported for any Suggest that is not mentioned in our Alert which also does not give any opportunity as per our PricePoints.
  • "MARGINAL" means that this Suggest neither gave any substantial profit, nor did it put a member into a loss situation — if you bought above the indicated level as per our Alert, there was ample chance to get out around that level later on after you realise that prices are not going up. It can also mean that you should not have entered into this scrip in the first place, because of external circumstances.
  • Profit shown for any Suggest that is not mentioned in any Alert is as per our PricePoints. Reasonable profits will have to be generated — it is not necessary that any exact PricePoints are reached.

  2. 'Approx. 1st. Entry Point' is the price at which 'first' entry is made.
  3. There can be more than one entry. Price for subsequent entries not shown.
  4. 'No. of Shares Traded' is calculated on 15k investment and 4x exposure (15000x4=60000) normally allowed by online brokering houses for intraday trading.
  5. 'Approx. Profit per Share' is cumulative of all entries.
  6. Figures within curly brackets {} stand for SHORT sell profits.
  7. All figures are indicative only.
  8. Profit figures given at our website are "estimates" only and do not take into account brokerage charges and other operational costs. This is because these charges can vary widely across the country and it will be misleading to give any one figure that is applicable in any one region in India.  TOP
