Pre-Market: 9:00am

Flat opening and cautious trading expected today also;
The Nifty extended its winning streak for third consecutive
session yesterday and maintained its crucial psychological
level of 5700; Overnight, US stocks ended higher supported
by stronger-than-expected labor and service-sector data;
Asian shares were trading mixed on Thursday ahead of the
European Central Bank policy meeting on interest rates;
At home, a big package of fresh reforms are to be announced
in a Cabinet meeting today; New Delhi is seeking to build
on the momentum generated by last month's reforms burst;
The Cabinet will consider crucial changes in the Companies
Bill that is already in Parliament, amendments to the
competition law, pension and insurance bills that are
all likely to bring in higher foreign investment in these
sectors; Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) have
already invested nearly $16.37 billion into Indian
equities so far this year, the highest among all the
emerging countries; Investors will also await PMI data
for the month of September, which will be out later
today; The manufacturing PMI growth held steady in Sept
at 52.8, supported by faster output growth and rising
export orders; Big change from this will be negative;
INR-US$ is at 52.1100; WTI Crude is at $88.20;

NIFTY Resistance levels today are: 5740, 5780, 5800, 5830, 5850;
NIFTY Support levels are at: 5720, 5690, 5670, 5650, 5620;

The Nifty is expected to open soft today tracking muted
Asian markets; Experts say that the Nifty would need to
close above 5750 level to keep momentum going; A move
above that levels would lead to a very bullish markets
and would bring big upsides towards the level of 5850;
We feel that we will open gap-up and have positive trading
initially in view of the positive reforms coming from New
Delhi today; Global cues are also turning positive; For
Intraday: do not get over excited; Do not lose focus; Do
not get tempted to get in at every opportunity; Choose
your entries carefully; Stick to your targets; Get out
once they are reached; Play quick & play smart when
you get the opportunity; Do not follow our Alerts blindly;
Consider all angles before you actually commit your money;
Do not take big risks; Take small profits and exit;
Repeat, if possible.

About the profit figures shown in these pages:
  • Time of BUY/SELL is shown in HHMM format. For example, 1025 means 10:25am; similarly 1439 means 14:39 hours or 2:39pm. These are approximate figures.
  • If a Suggest is mentioned in our Alerts, together with StopLoss and Targets, profit will be shown only if the 'See Above' figure is crossed positively and reasonable profits are generated. It is not necessary that Target figures are reached.
  • Once a See Above ( > ) figure is mentioned, we do not show a profit in these pages unless this figure is crossed positively. "Stay Away" is reported even if there is profit to be gained from this Suggest.
  • "Stay Away" is also reported for any Suggest that is not mentioned in our Alert which also does not give any opportunity as per our PricePoints.
  • "MARGINAL" means that this Suggest neither gave any substantial profit, nor did it put a member into a loss situation — if you bought above the indicated level as per our Alert, there was ample chance to get out around that level later on after you realise that prices are not going up. It can also mean that you should not have entered into this scrip in the first place, because of external circumstances.
  • Profit shown for any Suggest that is not mentioned in any Alert is as per our PricePoints. Reasonable profits will have to be generated — it is not necessary that any exact PricePoints are reached.

  2. 'Approx. 1st. Entry Point' is the price at which 'first' entry is made.
  3. There can be more than one entry. Price for subsequent entries not shown.
  4. 'No. of Shares Traded' is calculated on 15k investment and 4x exposure (15000x4=60000) normally allowed by online brokering houses for intraday trading.
  5. 'Approx. Profit per Share' is cumulative of all entries.
  6. Figures within curly brackets {} stand for SHORT sell profits.
  7. All figures are indicative only.
  8. Profit figures given at our website are "estimates" only and do not take into account brokerage charges and other operational costs.
