Pre-Market: 9:00am

Flat to Gap-down opening and cautious trading expected today also;
The Nifty ended slightly down yesterday after a flat day; In the
evening, taking the reforms route forward, the Cabinet Committee
on Economic Affairs approved some restructuring of Rs1.9 lakh crore
debt of state electricity boards in a move to rescue near-bankrupt
power distribution companies; This should lift sentiments; Overnight,
US stocks edged lower for the third straight day in a row as weak
data from Europe highlighted concerns of slowdown in global economy;
Asian stocks are mixed today morning on uncertainty about the bailout
prospect for Greece and Spain; Spain has come under renewed pressure
and risks a downgrade of its sovereign debt rating to junk status by
ratings agency Moody's, which is expected to announce its review soon;
At home, we look forward for additional reform measures this week
from the government to boost our economy, as listed yesterday;
INR-US$ is at 53.4600; WTI Crude is at $92.04;

NIFTY Resistance levels today are: 5700, 5740, 5780, 5830, 5850;
NIFTY Support levels are at: 5650, 5620, 5580, 5550, 5520;

The Nifty is expected to open flat and, experts say, will trade
down today; Nifty could very well see a cut of 70-80-points today
and Nifty-5630 is a crucial Support, they feel; If 5630 starts
to give away, there is a good chance that we might see 1.5% kind
of a cut on the index today, Experts say; We expect a flat to gap-up
opening and flat trading today with slight positive bias later; A lot
of choppiness will be there like yesterday; Markets are expected to
be volatile ahead of Thursday's F&O Expiry; We expect a smart rally
in the second half to take the Nifty past 5740; For Intraday, keep
your cool; Trading will be difficult today also due to fluctuations;
Be patient and wait for your chances to come; Play quick &
play smart when you get opportunity; Do not follow our Alerts
blindly; Consider all angles before you actually commit your
money; Do not take big risks; Take small profits and exit;
Repeat, if possible.

About the profit figures shown in these pages:
  • Time of BUY/SELL is shown in HHMM format. For example, 1025 means 10:25am; similarly 1439 means 14:39 hours or 2:39pm. These are approximate figures.
  • If a Suggest is mentioned in our Alerts, together with StopLoss and Targets, profit will be shown only if the 'See Above' figure is crossed positively and reasonable profits are generated. It is not necessary that Target figures are reached.
  • Once a See Above ( > ) figure is mentioned, we do not show a profit in these pages unless this figure is crossed positively. "Stay Away" is reported even if there is profit to be gained from this Suggest.
  • "Stay Away" is also reported for any Suggest that is not mentioned in our Alert which also does not give any opportunity as per our PricePoints.
  • "MARGINAL" means that this Suggest neither gave any substantial profit, nor did it put a member into a loss situation — if you bought above the indicated level as per our Alert, there was ample chance to get out around that level later on after you realise that prices are not going up. It can also mean that you should not have entered into this scrip in the first place, because of external circumstances.
  • Profit shown for any Suggest that is not mentioned in any Alert is as per our PricePoints. Reasonable profits will have to be generated — it is not necessary that any exact PricePoints are reached.

  2. 'Approx. 1st. Entry Point' is the price at which 'first' entry is made.
  3. There can be more than one entry. Price for subsequent entries not shown.
  4. 'No. of Shares Traded' is calculated on 15k investment and 4x exposure (15000x4=60000) normally allowed by online brokering houses for intraday trading.
  5. 'Approx. Profit per Share' is cumulative of all entries.
  6. Figures within curly brackets {} stand for SHORT sell profits.
  7. All figures are indicative only.
  8. Profit figures given at our website are "estimates" only and do not take into account brokerage charges and other operational costs. This is because these charges can vary widely across the country and it will be misleading to give any one figure that is applicable in any one region in India.  TOP
