Performance Results

Thursday, 22-Mar-2012

  • Yesterday's surprise element was carried forward today, but in the opposite direction. Everything was OK and as expected till about 2pm, after which we had a sudden great fall. Bad opening for Europe was the primary reason for the fall to begin, then came a variety of other factors that took it down and down. China's muted growth, bad German and French manufacturing data, weak rupee and the CAG report on the loss in coal block allocation — are some of these reasons. Good news is that FIIs have not gone away or gone negative. Volumes are also good. So, in a way, the correction is good for the long run.
  • Experts are coming forth with a long list of reasons why the market fell today. But we feel differently: investors are worried that the huge inflow of FII money that has come in might start to flow out as the Indian government's credibility has been severely damaged after the rail fare rollback and coal allocation mishap. So people started to pull out their money while the going is still good. This is not a good trend.
  • 3 of the Suggests of IntradayTrade dot Net did a fantastic job today in LONG following our Alerts. On a day when the NIFTY came down by more than 130-points, these results in LONG are simply 'superb'. True, most of these profits were difficult to get, but if you have made a fraction of what is shown here you have done a 'superb' job!

About the profit figures shown in these pages:
  • Time of BUY/SELL is shown in HHMM format. For example, 1025 means 10:25am; similarly 1439 means 14:39 hours or 2:39pm. These are approximate figures.
  • If a Suggest is mentioned in our Alerts, together with StopLoss and Targets, profit will be shown only if the 'See Above' figure is crossed positively and reasonable profits are generated. It is not necessary that Target figures are reached.
  • Once a See Above ( > ) figure is mentioned, we do not show a profit in these pages unless this figure is crossed positively. "Stay Away" is reported even if there is profit to be gained from this Suggest.
  • "Stay Away" is also reported for any Suggest that is not mentioned in our Alert which also does not give any opportunity as per our PricePoints.
  • "MARGINAL" means that this Suggest neither gave any substantial profit, nor did it put a member into a loss situation — if you bought above the indicated level as per our Alert, there was ample chance to get out around that level later on after you realise that prices are not going up.
  • Profit shown for any Suggest that is not mentioned in any Alert is as per our PricePoints. Reasonable profits will have to be generated — it is not necessary that any exact PricePoints are reached.

  2. 'Approx. 1st. Entry Point' is the price at which 'first' entry is made.
  3. There can be more than one entry. Price for subsequent entries not shown.
  4. 'No. of Shares Traded' is calculated on 15k investment and 4x exposure (15000x4=60000) normally allowed by online brokering houses for intraday trading.
  5. 'Approx. Profit per Share' is cumulative of all entries.
  6. Figures within curly brackets {} stand for SHORT sell profits.
  7. All figures are indicative only.
  8. Profit figures given at our website are "estimates" only and do not take into account brokerage charges and other operational costs. This is because these charges can vary widely across the country and it will be misleading to give any one figure that is applicable in any one region in India.  TOP
